Automation template · The Marketplace is rolling out, so it may not be switched on for every account yet. Where it is on, you find it in Settings, under Marketplace.
What it does
Notifies you when a task slips past its due date, and again every few days until it is done.
What data it reads
Your task board and due dates.
What it may do

How install works
- Sign in to NeoCEO and open Settings, then Marketplace.
- Choose Install on this item and fill in its short settings form.
- Read the consent sentence NeoCEO shows, tick it and confirm. Without the tick nothing is installed.
- It appears as an automation on your Automations page. Uninstall it from Marketplace and that automation is deleted.
Plan limits
An installed template is one active automation, so it counts toward your plan's automation limit. Other plans and limits are on the pricing page.
| Plan | Active automations |
|---|---|
| Free | 25 |
| Starter | 25 |
| Pro | 60 |
| Team | 60 per seat |
Team gets the limit for each seat. These are the plan limits at the time of writing; the pricing page is the reference.
Questions
Do I need a NeoCEO account to use Overdue task nudge?
Yes. This template installs as an automation inside your NeoCEO account, from Settings under Marketplace, so you need to sign in first. There is no anonymous install. The Marketplace is rolling out, so it may not be switched on for your account yet. NeoCEO has a Free plan that needs no card, and an installed template counts toward the automation limit of your plan, shown in the table above.
What does Overdue task nudge read?
Your task board and due dates. NeoCEO shows you this text before you install, and you tick a consent sentence that names it. The data stays in your account, in the same isolated storage as the rest of NeoCEO, and it is not used to train NeoCEO's own models. If you turn the automation off or uninstall it, it stops reading immediately.
Will Overdue task nudge send anything on its own?
Send you an in-app notification. It changes no task. No Marketplace template sends email by itself: when a template involves email, it only prepares a draft, and the email leaves only when you press Send on its card. That is the same confirmation rule NeoCEO applies everywhere else, and it holds even if you let the automation run every day.
How do I stop or remove Overdue task nudge?
Open Settings, then Marketplace, and choose Uninstall on Overdue task nudge. NeoCEO deletes the automation that was created for it and records the removal. You can also switch the automation off, or delete it, on your Automations page. Nothing keeps running afterwards, and anything it already showed you, such as a notification or a draft, stays where it is until you delete it.
