Telegram AI assistant for your email and calendar

Updated

A Telegram AI assistant is a bot you chat with like a person, connected to your real email, calendar and tasks. NeoCEO's bot reads and triages your Gmail or IMAP mail, drafts replies and sends them only after you tap ✅, sets reminders, adds tasks and sends your daily briefing, all from the Telegram chat you already have open.

Why Telegram

Most AI assistants want you to open one more app. For a lot of founders, especially in Eastern Europe, Telegram is already where the day happens: client chats, team groups, channels. An assistant inside that chat list gets used, because asking "what needs me today?" takes three seconds.

The usual way to get an AI bot on Telegram is to build one: an n8n or Make workflow, a bot token, an API key, and an afternoon of debugging when Gmail's OAuth expires. NeoCEO is the finished version. You link your account once, and the bot already knows your mailboxes, calendar, projects and CRM.

Who it's for

What you can do from the chat

Ask for your day

Ask "what needs me today?" and get the replies you owe, overdue tasks and today's meetings. Type /briefing for the morning briefing on demand and /evening for the end-of-day summary. If you switch Telegram on in your notification settings, the scheduled briefing, meeting briefs 15 minutes before a call, and alerts about urgent mail in your Gmail account arrive in the chat on their own.

Read, reply and approve drafts

"Show me unread mail from Acme", "reply to Ana that Friday works", "write to the accountant and ask for the August invoice". NeoCEO drafts the email and shows it to you with two buttons: ✅ to send, ❌ to cancel. Nothing goes out until you tap ✅. You can change the text, add a recipient, or forward a photo or PDF you sent to the bot as an attachment. With a Gmail and an IMAP mailbox, it uses your default account or asks which address to send from.

Voice notes

Hold the microphone and talk. The bot transcribes your voice note, shows you the text it heard, and then handles it exactly like a typed message, so "remind me tomorrow at nine to call the bank" works the same spoken or written. Voice notes can be in Romanian, Russian or English. Type /voice on if you also want the assistant to answer with voice messages.

Reminders and tasks

"Remind me in 20 minutes", "every day at 9 check the bank account", "add a task to send the offer to Mihai by Thursday". Reminders are confirmed with a button before they are set, can repeat, and can also go to an email address. Tasks land on the right project board in the dashboard, and /tasks lists what is open.

Calendar and CRM

Schedule a meeting, ask what is on today, or find a free slot in Google Calendar. Log a call or a note against a CRM contact, or ask where a deal stands. Changes to a deal or a calendar event wait for your confirmation, like sending email.

Photos and documents

Send a photo of a receipt or a PDF contract and ask a question about it. NeoCEO reads the file and answers, and keeps it ready to attach to your next email.

One assistant, three places

Telegram, the web dashboard and the NeoCEO app in ChatGPT share the same account, memory and data. Start a draft on Telegram, finish it in the dashboard; a task created by voice shows up on the board. The triage cards, meeting transcripts and CRM live in the dashboard, where a bigger screen helps. Mail comes from Gmail or any IMAP/SMTP mailbox; Outlook and Microsoft 365 are not supported.

How to connect Telegram

  1. Start the trial and connect your mailbox: Gmail with Google sign-in, or any other with its IMAP/SMTP settings.
  2. In the dashboard, generate a Telegram link code.
  3. Open the NeoCEO bot in Telegram and send /link followed by the code.
  4. Optional: in notification settings, switch Telegram on to get briefings and alerts in the chat.

The code is single-use, and a chat that is not linked to an account gets no access to anything.

Telegram AI assistant: questions

Can the Telegram bot send email without asking me?

No. When you ask the bot to write or reply to an email, it shows you the draft with a ✅ and a ❌ button, and it sends only after you tap ✅. The same goes for changing a CRM deal or a calendar event. The one exception is an automation you set up yourself in the dashboard and switch on with a consent checkbox, such as a follow-up for unanswered mail; it sends only what it describes, to its recipients, within a daily cap.

Does the bot understand voice messages?

Yes. Send a voice note and the bot transcribes it, shows you the text it heard, and treats it as if you had typed it. That means a spoken "reply to Ana that we can meet on Friday" produces a draft for you to approve, and "remind me at five to call the bank" sets a reminder after you confirm it. Voice notes can be in Romanian, Russian or English. If you want spoken answers too, send /voice on; /voice off turns them off again.

Do I need n8n, Make or my own bot token?

No. NeoCEO runs its own Telegram bot, so there is no workflow to build, no bot token to create and no API key to paste. You connect your mailbox and calendar in the dashboard with the normal sign-in, generate a link code, and send /link with that code to the bot. If you already built an n8n bot for your inbox, NeoCEO can replace it, and it adds triage, meeting transcripts, task boards and a CRM that a hand-built bot would not have.

Is it safe to connect my email to a Telegram bot?

The bot only answers chats linked to a NeoCEO account with a single-use code, and every account is isolated at the database level. Mailbox passwords for IMAP accounts are encrypted at rest, and your conversations are not used to train our models. Telegram itself carries the messages, so anything you ask the bot passes through Telegram like any other chat. Sending, deleting and changes to your data wait for your confirmation. The privacy policy lists what we store and how to delete it.

Can I use NeoCEO without Telegram?

Yes. Telegram is optional. The web dashboard has the same chat, plus the triage list, meetings, project boards and CRM, and you can also use NeoCEO from inside ChatGPT. Briefings and alerts can reach you as web push notifications or as an email to yourself instead. Many people use both: the dashboard at the desk for triage and meetings, Telegram on the phone for quick replies, reminders and voice notes.
