Linear connector for NeoCEO
Updated
Read your Linear issues and projects; create or update issues after you confirm. Installing it needs a NeoCEO account.
Connector · The Marketplace is rolling out, so it may not be switched on for every account yet. Where it is on, you find it in Settings, under Marketplace.
What it does
Read your Linear issues and projects; create or update issues after you confirm.
What data it reads
Your Linear issues, projects, teams and comments.
What it may do
Read issues and projects. Creating or updating an issue or a comment always waits for your confirmation.
This connector can change data in the tool, but every change is shown to you first and runs only when you confirm.
How install works
- Sign in to NeoCEO and open Settings, then Marketplace.
- Choose Connect on this item and sign in with the tool itself.
- Ask NeoCEO in chat. Reading runs on its own; anything that changes data in the tool waits for your confirmation.
- Disconnect any time: NeoCEO revokes and deletes the access it was given.
Plan limits
Connected-app calls are counted per month across your whole account (a team shares one pool). Reading a page or an issue is one call.
| Plan | Connected-app calls per month |
|---|---|
| Free | 50 |
| Starter | 500 |
| Pro | 3000 |
| Team | 10000 |
These are the plan limits at the time of writing; the pricing page is the reference.
Questions
Do I need a NeoCEO account to use Linear?
Yes. The Linear connector is installed from inside NeoCEO, in Settings under Marketplace, so you sign in to NeoCEO first and then sign in to Linear when you connect it. There is no anonymous install and nothing installs from a link. The Marketplace is rolling out, so it can be switched off for your account for now. NeoCEO has a Free plan that needs no card, and the plan limits for connected-app calls are listed above.
What can NeoCEO see in Linear?
Your Linear issues, projects, teams and comments. NeoCEO asks only for access to those things, and the same text is shown to you before you connect. It does not read other areas of the tool, and it does not use what it reads to train its models. You can see exactly what was accessed in your own Linear account, and you can disconnect at any time from the Marketplace settings.
Can NeoCEO change things in Linear without asking?
Read issues and projects. Creating or updating an issue or a comment always waits for your confirmation. This follows the same rule as the rest of NeoCEO: reading can run on its own, while sending, changing or deleting anything waits for your explicit confirmation. Each use is counted against your plan, and each install and removal is written to an audit record that you can ask us about through support.
How do I remove Linear from NeoCEO?
Open Settings, then Marketplace, and choose Disconnect on Linear. NeoCEO then revokes the access it was given and deletes the stored tokens, so it keeps nothing that lets it reach your Linear account again. You can also revoke NeoCEO from inside Linear itself. Disconnecting does not delete anything that was already in your Linear account, because NeoCEO never held a copy of it.
